In 2025, the entire Alpe d’Huez triathlon community raised over €20,000 through various actions (donations from triathletes, donations from the organisation, solidarity race numbers), enabling 23 children to travel with Aviation Sans Frontières to receive the treatment they needed. Founded in 1980, NGO Aviation Sans Frontières mobilises its expertise, aircraft and air network to deliver emergency aid from France and its bases abroad, and to transport fragile people requiring specific support throughout the world. Among these beneficiaries, hundreds of children suffering from serious pathologies (which cannot be treated in their country) are accompanied each year by Aviation Sans Frontières teams to European hospitals.
It is this specific mission that the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon and its entire community can support.
