The Alpe d’Huez Triathlon is gaining momentum in 2024 by strengthening its support to the NGO Aviation Sans Frontières after a first collaboration in 2023. For the 18th edition, the Game Changers team of the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon was born in order to raise funds for the association through charity bibs. We tell you everything about this community of big-hearted triathletes, and how to join it.
The Triathlons L and M are now sold out… If you weren’t quick enough, you still have a chance to be part of the Legend next July: become a Game Changers of the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon by taking a charity bib. Indeed, 25 places on the L distance and 25 places on the M distance are available for those who wish to engage in a solidarity approach, going beyond their sporting challenge.
How does the charity bib work?
The principle is simple: to be able to start the race in July as a Game Changer, you will need to raise €500 for the M Triathlon or €900 for the L Triathlon. In addition to the registration fee (not included in these fund-raising objectives), all proceeds will automatically be donated to Aviation Sans Frontières. In concrete terms, the funds raised will be used to finance the mission of accompanying children suffering from serious pathologies, transported by plane to European hospitals to receive appropriate care.

1 - Game Changer profile creation
You create your profile on the Aviation Sans Frontières fundraising platform.
2 - Fundraising
You mobilize your community to raise funds. It is obviously possible to collect more money than the amount requested and, thus, help sick children even more!
3 - Registration to the race
Once all the funds have been collected, your registration is possible. Please note, until you have completed the foundraising target, your bib will not be confirmed! We invite you to read the conditions of engagement carefully.
Becoming a “Game Changers” changes everything!
Taking a charity bib means having heart and values. It also means entering the community of Game Changers of the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon, triathletes like no other who are committed to a cause. United by the same quest for sense, these athletes will be valued before and during the event thanks to the telling of their personal story and the creation of a true team spirit. Becoming Game Changers is the guarantee of experiencing the triathlon in an even more intense way!
A common and growing commitment from the organization and triathletes
In 2024, the grand prize draw in aid of Aviation Sans Frontières returns. The lucky winners will win exceptional prizes: a flight for two to the Caribbean and a helicopter flight (on Friday July 26)! But the surge of generosity has already begun. When they registered, 287 triathletes donated a total of €1,167 to the association. The organizers have also pledged to donate €1 per registration to the 2024 event! Today, Aviation Sans Frontières‘ mission to support sick children is guaranteed to receive €5,000 in aid.
