Here are our top ideas for a legendary Christmas

The end-of-year festivities are already here, but you’re desperately short of ideas for Christmas presents? Worry no more: if you love triathlon, if you love Alpe d’Huez, here are our recommendations for giving (or ordering!) the most wonderful of experiences. It’s the difference between a ‘merry’ Christmas and a ‘legendary’ one.

1) A bib number for the 19th edition, of course!

This makes perfect sense, as there are still just over a hundred race numbers available for the Triathlon L… If you’d like to encourage a loved one to take part in one of the greatest sporting adventures of their life (you know, that friend who dreams of it, who has the ability, but just doesn’t dare), you’re just in time to offer them a 2025 race number. A little bonus: below you’ll find some Christmas bibs to print out and put under the Christmas tree.

2) The official down jacket, it's a classic!

The Alpe d’Huez Triathlon down jacket (third edition already!) is the ideal Christmas gift. Produced in collaboration with our partner INVERSE, our model is characterised by its lightness and density. And for the record, it’s THE jacket worn by the entire Alpe d’Huez triathlon organising team all winter long!

Available in a men’s or women’s cut.

  • Reverse zip with chin guard
  • 2 front pockets with zips
  • Water resistant
  • Lightweight and foldable (includes carry pouch)
  • Embroidered logos
  • Outer and inner fabric: 100% Polyester

3) The Alpe d’Huez Triathlon cycling jacket

For those who don’t know about the winter break! If there’s one piece of clothing that’s essential for all cyclists and triathletes this winter, it’s the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon cycling jacket, a hybrid between a long-sleeved jersey and a traditional thermal jacket. INVERSE has developed this surprising product, which is as technical as it is comfortable, for use in winter as well as late autumn and early spring. Discover it for yourself!

4) The official jersey of the 2025 edition. Light Lavanda or Dark Violet?

Every year, we strive to come up with a new design for the cycling jersey to accompany the forthcoming edition. This tradition, which is deeply rooted in our community, has made the official jersey the main icon of each edition. For 2025, we’ve played the gradient card (very much in fashion) by venturing into a range of new colours with two versions, Light Lavanda and Dark Violet. Without a doubt, this jersey is the one that most represents the spirit of the 19th edition.

5) If you haven't written your card to Santa yet, think one step further!

Whether you’re registered for the next edition or not, why not give your Christmas a different flavour, full of meaning and value? From now on, you can create a fund to support the Aviation sans Frontières association (for its mission to help sick children). At this time of year, generosity (yours and that of those around you) could well be the greatest gift of all. Here’s how!
