This summer, EDF opens the doors of the EDF Grand’Maison – Hydrélec site to you. A popular attraction for many triathletes, the EDF Hydrélec museum will be opened this summer (free and accessible to all) from 22 June to 9 September. Trust us: it’s an impressive experience at the heart of renewable energy! But this visit isn’t the only good reason to come to the shores of Lac du Verney during your stay in the Oisans region.
The long-time competitors know it. The legend of the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon is not limited to the ascent of the 21 bends. The swim, which takes place in the Lac du Verney, part of the EDF Grand’Maison hydroelectric complex, makes a major contribution to the myth of the event. This summer, EDF is inviting triathletes and their families to discover the EDF Grand’Maison – Hydrélec site. During the week of the event, take the time to get to know the starting point of the race and understand why and how this unique site plays an essential role in the production of renewable electricity and contributes actively to the energy transition.
