The 2023 edition has arrived. The official cycling jersey of the 17th edition has just been put on sale on the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon e-boutique, with a radically simple concept: two versions are available, DARK or LIGHT. Depending on your tastes and moods, there is something for everyone. This product launch is the 5th of its kind, with always the same genesis: the teamwork between the branding agency, the organiser and the official partner INVERSE.

A word from Laurence Neveu, co-director of the Alpe d'Huez Triathlon

“It is difficult to propose a new jersey every year! But we are particularly keen to do so. It allows us to reinforce the “Alpe d’Huez Triathlon” brand and to launch the next edition in a ritual and original way. We are literally announcing the colour! We are also very happy to see that many participants buy the jersey as soon as they register for the race. We send it directly to their homes and the long adventure begins as soon as they receive the jersey! I think this contributes to the notion of community that we cherish.”

A word from Oscar Artal, Sales Director of INVERSE (official partner)

“Every year, our role is to support the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon organisation in defining the official jersey. We bring our recommendations and participate in the retouching and adjustments of the initial design according to our experience as a manufacturer. We present the colour tests and above all, we try to be as agile and reactive as possible regarding the final production. It’s a real team effort but also our core business: customisation.”

A word from the graphic designer, Marti Milla (Youniti agency)

“Listening to market trends and triathletes feedback, the 2023 design is based on the contrast of a simple base (light or dark) with the 21 bends icon (already used in the 2018 version). This same icon is the main reminder of the brand’s current graphic line characterised by its colour gradient through a pattern introduced in 2022. As always, respect for the elegance and sobriety with which the brand must be associated has framed the creative process, although the 2023 proposal is a little more engaged than last year’s, in my opinion.”
